My daughter Daniella wanted me to make a clone of herself. She knew exactly where she wanted to be and how!!!

I have been wanting to acquire a Shoot-through umbrella as well as a Manfroto Multiclamp for location/outdoor shooting, so I did! I went out to Pitman Photo and bought it. When I came home, I told my family, get ready, I’m experimenting with my new toys.

Strangely enough, my wife jumped in front of the camera and said… I go first!!!

All pictures were shot with the Canon EF-S18-55mm f/4.5 on Manual mode.

Next, I took my oldest daughter to our patio to get a couple of images of her. I love photographing my daughter as she is the easiest model you will ever find. You just need to tell her how you want her and she just does it. Of course, she always have her say as well.

On 9/23/08, a group of about 35 photographers got together and participated in the Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk presented by Photoshop User Magazine.

The purpose of the walk is to network among photographers in your area and to share ideas, lenses, tips & tricks, etc.

The Miami group met at the Lincoln Movie theater at 9am. It was decided then what we were going to do. We all decided to walk in Lincoln Road only for 2 hours, and then some of the participants were going to meet at Van Dyke’s for breakfast or Lunch.

Besides of networking and photography, this walk is also a contest.  Everyone is to post no more than 20 images to the flickr group assign. In my case, my group is MiamiPhotoWalk. The best photo of your group (as chosen by your local walk leader) will win a copy of Scott’s “Lightroom 2 Book for Digital Photographers”. Then, among the winners, a grand price winner will be chosen by Scott Kelby and this person will win over $2K in prices to include:

To be honest with you, I participated on this walk to meet & greet other like minded individuals and to have a good time.

I’m glad SoBe was chosen for our location as I really don’t get much time to walk in the Beach.

Every year, Fairchild Tropical Garden offers free Sundays in the months of August and September. I always like to take advantage of this, as it gives me the opportunity to photograph the beautiful flowers.
