By now, I’m sure you all know that I’m a cyclist, not a swimmer and not a runner, but this past weekend, some of my good friends and team members were participating in their first Tri-Athlon and some were participating in their 3rd, 4th, 5th… You get the idea!!!!
Since I’m not a runner or swimmer, I thought it would be cool to come to cheer for them and also photograph, so I did. I showed up at the event pretty much at the same time they were getting there, some of them knew I was going, some of them didn’t, so I think it was a good surprised for them to see me there cheering and photographing them.
I certainly enjoyed photographing this event as I could feel the adrenaline as they were about to start and transition for the next course.

Below are just some of the pictures of this event – These are NOT FineArt and maybe not be Sports Illustrated material, but this post is NOT about the actual photograph, but the actual accomplishments that my friends made. I know for one that I wouldn’t do what they did. Not because I can’t run or swim, but because I won’t just DO them.
BTW – Special congratulations to Naomi – She got 1st place in the Athena category… Why is this so special? Because it was her first time participating and she totally ROCKED it!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them.

In this picture, I wanted to show the players in motion and color contrast between the Red & Blue. As you can see in the EXIF data, I was using 1/60 shutter speed to show the motion.
ISO: 320
Exposure: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/60

A few weeks ago, the Cheerleading classes started at the YMCA South Dade and we decided to put our 5 year old Carolina…
They look so cute trying to a cheer when they can’t even control their arms… Too funny!
Anyways, last night was the first official basketball game that they were going to cheer, so I snapped a couple of photographs to share with you all.
Just about to leave the house
First Cheer!
Pumped
There were more, but not going to bore you with 758 shots I took.
Hope you enjoyed it!

A few days ago, I was asked by the soccer parents to photograph our last soccer game of the season. I was going to photograph my daughter anyway, but when some of the parent heard that I was a photographer, they all wanted me to photograph their kid, so I decided to upload the pictures to my gallery and let the parents purchase prints.
Photographing soccer is a whole lot of fun, specially when the players are 3-5 years old. It is NOT really a soccer game, but more like a Circus. You get to see all kinds of things & funny faces.
