I truly enjoy the art of cooking and the whole process, from planning a meal to going to the Supermarket to actual cooking the meal and even cleaning afterwards. The whole process makes it even more worth it when you cook for friends and family and they enjoy it.
This post is not to tell you how much I enjoy cooking but to say that sometimes, it feels great to seat down and enjoy a meal that someone else cooked and cooked it with the same passion for food as I do!
The meal was a Creole Crab meat, white rice and Tostones… It was delicious and I just had to share!!!

RAYMEDphotography is all about helping the community and this time is NO different…
For the remaining of August and the whole month of September 2011, RAYMEDphotography will be donating 50% of the profits to the LIVEStrong and Joe DiMaggio Children Hospital through a great event sponsored by zMotion.org. Read more about the event here.
We all know someone with or someone that had Cancer, why not give a little to help find the cure or even help these great human beings get some of the medication that they need in order to prolong their life. We all can help and why not do it while getting something in return.
I personally, lost both of my parents to this decease and wish that one day, we can actually find the cure… But I can’t do it alone, WE ALL NEED YOU!
You can schedule a portrait session, buy an Fine Art print, or purchase some addition portrait prints and 50% of the profits will go as fundraising efforts for this amazing event.
If you are interested and would like to schedule your session, use this form and enter promo code: LIVElongLiveStrong and I’ll get back with you.
To purchase any of my Fine Art prints, please visit my gallery @ http://www.raymedphotography.com/portfolio/fineart/index.htm and make your selection there.
One last option for you to be involved. If you don’t want to schedule a portrait session or don’t need to purchase a Fine Art print, feel free to go to http://livelong.kintera.org/rayray and donate as little as $5 dollars. Every little bit helps and I know I can count on my followers

On July 20th, I had the pleasure of photographing Jan Forgione. Jan is a Personal Trainer and a great cyclist.
I’m going to tell you a little bit of Jan’s story and if you are looking for somebody to motivate you in your life, please give her a call.
Jan started her weight loss journey about 1 1/2 years ago after loosing a couple of family members. She has lost more than 190 lbs and she is now in an awesome physical condition and currently even racing in a couple of Triathlons in the South Florida area.
You can solicit her services @ http://www.janforgionetrainer.com
More on her story will be published as part of the Inked Project… Stay tuned or subscribe to my posts from the right side of the blog page!
Hope you like the shots selected and please leave her some comment love!

By now, I’m sure you all know that I’m a cyclist, not a swimmer and not a runner, but this past weekend, some of my good friends and team members were participating in their first Tri-Athlon and some were participating in their 3rd, 4th, 5th… You get the idea!!!!
Since I’m not a runner or swimmer, I thought it would be cool to come to cheer for them and also photograph, so I did. I showed up at the event pretty much at the same time they were getting there, some of them knew I was going, some of them didn’t, so I think it was a good surprised for them to see me there cheering and photographing them.
I certainly enjoyed photographing this event as I could feel the adrenaline as they were about to start and transition for the next course.

Below are just some of the pictures of this event – These are NOT FineArt and maybe not be Sports Illustrated material, but this post is NOT about the actual photograph, but the actual accomplishments that my friends made. I know for one that I wouldn’t do what they did. Not because I can’t run or swim, but because I won’t just DO them.
BTW – Special congratulations to Naomi – She got 1st place in the Athena category… Why is this so special? Because it was her first time participating and she totally ROCKED it!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them.

I took sometime to look through some old images in my archive as I had time in the plane to browse.
I came across the following photograph, it was taken back in 2008 while I was Pensacola, Florida.
That night, I was on the Pensacola Pier photographing the surroundings and the beautiful orange sunset.
Rachel and Billy were taking the typical “we were here” photograph. You know which one… Where you stand someplace and you extend your arms to take the picture. I took this picture, just a few seconds before I offered to take a picture with their camera. They actually smiled to the fact that I have taken a picture of them trying to take their own picture.
I wish I could have gotten their address or at least their email address as I could’ve emailed them a copy of this image, but I just didn’t have the courage to ask for their email address
If you do know these two, it will be my pleasure to send them a copy of this image or even an actual print.
Some of the photographs from that same day.
