I truly enjoy the art of cooking and the whole process, from planning a meal to going to the Supermarket to actual cooking the meal and even cleaning afterwards. The whole process makes it even more worth it when you cook for friends and family and they enjoy it.
This post is not to tell you how much I enjoy cooking but to say that sometimes, it feels great to seat down and enjoy a meal that someone else cooked and cooked it with the same passion for food as I do!
The meal was a Creole Crab meat, white rice and Tostones… It was delicious and I just had to share!!!

We all know someone with or someone that had Cancer, why not give a little to help find the cure or even help these great human beings get some of the medication that they need in order to prolong their life. We all can help and why not do it while getting something in return.
I personally, lost both of my parents to this decease and wish that one day, we can actually find the cure… But I can’t do it alone, WE ALL NEED YOU!
You can schedule a portrait session, buy an Fine Art print, or purchase some addition portrait prints and 50% of the profits will go as fundraising efforts for this amazing event.
If you are interested and would like to schedule your session, use this form and enter promo code: LIVElongLiveStrong and I’ll get back with you.
To purchase any of my Fine Art prints, please visit my gallery @ http://www.raymedphotography.com/portfolio/fineart/index.htm and make your selection there.
One last option for you to be involved. If you don’t want to schedule a portrait session or don’t need to purchase a Fine Art print, feel free to go to http://livelong.kintera.org/rayray and donate as little as $5 dollars. Every little bit helps and I know I can count on my followers

On February 5th, I had the pleasure to photograph my friend’s family in the beautiful Matheson Hammock.
Spending those 2 hours with them, were truly the highlight of my day! I honestly didn’t event have to tell them what to do, they were NATURAL and RAW.
The parents :: What can I say… I would just love to sit and chat with them a whole afternoon!
Both Jared and Sarah cycle with me in the same Bike Club and I have had gotten to know them pretty well, but this is the first time that I actually hung out with them outside of a ride and NOT wearing spandex.
The Brothers :: I don’t think I have that much room to talk about these two
I’ll just let you come to your own conclusions in the comment sections… And please keep it PG!
Although this girl looks a lot like his wife… It’s actually a stunt double
I think Matt should be the face of GAP! This is what I call a cool kid…Just look at him!
Oh Anna!!! Love those curls and playing Peek-A-Boo with you!!! Next time, we’ll have to have a play-date with my 6 y/o daughter!
Some more images in my FB page… (here)
~ Enjoy!

Father and Son riding their bikes through the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. A few minutes before this shot, the father tried to bunny hop the sidewalk with no success, I had to actually help him get up, but thankfully, there were no injuries, scrapes or blood. He was able to get back on and continue sharing this ride with his son. When I saw them again, I just had to make this photograph.

In this picture, I wanted to show the players in motion and color contrast between the Red & Blue. As you can see in the EXIF data, I was using 1/60 shutter speed to show the motion.
ISO: 320
Exposure: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/60
Location: YMCA, South Dade

A few weeks ago, the Cheerleading classes started at the YMCA South Dade and we decided to put our 5 year old Carolina…
They look so cute trying to a cheer when they can’t even control their arms… Too funny!
Anyways, last night was the first official basketball game that they were going to cheer, so I snapped a couple of photographs to share with you all.
Just about to leave the house
First Cheer!
Pumped
There were more, but not going to bore you with 758 shots I took.
Hope you enjoyed it!

As you all know, my daughter is into photography as well and that makes any photographer parent excited. The same day that we shot this “clone”, we spent all morning at the Flamingo Gardens in Davie, FL and had a blast… Photographs from the park are to follow this post.
Anyway, Daniella ask me on the way home that afternoon if we can shoot a clone, I was tired after spending 6 hours under the shoot and hauling my camera gear on my back, but my response was after seeing her huge smile on her face… Sure… but a bit later, OK?
She initially was going to wear the same clothes for all different poses and I asked her, why don’t you use a different shirt for each? She loved the idea and on she went to get 10 different shirts.
For this setup, I used the following:
There are 10 different poses/photographs and all combined in Photoshop.
Hope you like the results.

We had the pleasure of having my sister join us for a couple of days while we were in Marco Island.
It is a family tradition that we MUST take out the board games and have a game night. We didn’t take that many board games to choose from, so we cracked Scattergories open.
The images below reflect how the whole night was… There was laughter, fun, drinks, and kids… (my little one honestly thought she was playing..)
We become very goofy when playing these types of games, specially this one. It so much fun just to make up words, places, etc… Rules? We don’t follow any rules. If it sounds good to us, we allow it. If it doesn’t, we take votes around the table.
For example: Something you are afraid of? _ With the letter M: “My wife with a Machete” This phrase is a classic. This was said by my father about 10 years ago and to this day, we remember vividly. And just like that one, there tons more…
Anyways, here are some of the shots from the evening.
~ Enjoy!
I hope you enjoyed our family crazy game night as much as we did.
Thanks,
