Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk
On 9/23/08, a group of about 35 photographers got together and participated in the Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk presented by Photoshop User Magazine.
The purpose of the walk is to network among photographers in your area and to share ideas, lenses, tips & tricks, etc.
The Miami group met at the Lincoln Movie theater at 9am. It was decided then what we were going to do. We all decided to walk in Lincoln Road only for 2 hours, and then some of the participants were going to meet at Van Dyke’s for breakfast or Lunch.
Besides of networking and photography, this walk is also a contest. Everyone is to post no more than 20 images to the flickr group
assign. In my case, my group is MiamiPhotoWalk. The best photo of your group (as chosen by your local walk leader) will win a copy of Scott’s “Lightroom 2 Book for Digital Photographers”. Then, among the winners, a grand price winner will be chosen by Scott Kelby and this person will win over $2K in prices to include:

To be honest with you, I participated on this walk to meet & greet other like minded individuals and to have a good time.
I’m glad SoBe was chosen for our location as I really don’t get much time to walk in the Beach.
